The Aim of Sex Buddies

Why would people want to deviate from the norm and set out to find sex buddies? For most people, it’s quite hard to understand, because we were raised to think that commitment and relationships should go hand-in-hand. However, casual sex between two consenting individuals can also fulfill different needs. People get into casual relationships for a variety of reasons.  Among these reasons are the following:

•    They want to augment whatever they know. They feel as though they have insufficient understanding of sex, and as such they need to further “practice” to polish their techniques.

•    They are already fine in bed, but they want to have as much sexual experience as possible, acquiring knowledge along the way so that in time, they can become great lovers, perhaps in the mold of Casanova.

•    They want to have sex but feel as if they're not ready for a formal, committed relationship. For the moment, for whatever reason, physical intimacy is as far as they want to go.

•    They're biding their time while waiting for "the real thing" (a real romantic relationship) to come along, which for them may be hard to come by.

•    They simply want something to help them get through the occasional boring or cold lonely nights.

Of course, these are but a few possible reasons, because there are probably as many motivations to engage in casual sex as there are people who take part in them. What is certain is that one reason cannot be said to be not more valid than another. The key thing to remember is that having a fuck buddy should be a casual, pleasurable experience.
